1. Precautions for Using 1/4 OD Polyurethane Tubing 100

1).Use a dedicated tube cutter to cut perpendicularly, ensuring a clean, flat cut. An angled or deformed cut will prevent sealing and cause air leaks.

2).When inserting into a push-to-connect fitting, push the tube fully in until you hear a "click," then gently pull back to confirm it is locked. Failure to insert fully may cause the tube to detach.

3).After pressurization, the tube's outer diameter will expand and cannot be reinserted into the same push-to-connect fitting. The section damaged by the gripping teeth must be cut off before reuse. The expanded outer diameter cannot pass through the release ring, and the old bite marks will not seal properly.

4).The typical operating temperature range is -20℃ to +40℃. Exceeding this range may cause the tubing to harden, soften, or crack.

2. Precautions for Storing 1/4 OD Polyurethane Tubing 100

1).The ambient storage temperature should be controlled between 5℃ and 40℃, with an optimal range of 15℃ to 25℃.

2).Humidity should be <=65% RH, in a dry, well-ventilated environment. High humidity can cause hydrolysis of the polyurethane material, significantly degrading its performance.

3).Store completely away from light and direct sunlight. Ultraviolet radiation can damage the polyurethane molecular structure, leading to surface chalking and cracking.

4).Polyurethane has poor chemical resistance. Contact with substances can cause swelling, dissolution, or degradation. Keep away from acids, alkalis, oils, solvents, oxidizers, and heat sources.

5).Store the tubing straight and flat, avoiding excessive bending or tight coiling. Long-term bending or heavy pressure can cause permanent deformation, affecting fluid flow.

6).The recommended shelf life is best within 6 months, and should not exceed 1 year. Polyurethane will naturally age. If stored longer, performance retesting (e.g., hardness, pressure resistance) is required.
